I don’t know what it is about letterforms I find in the recycling bin.

Now and then I have to pull out the recycling, rip out a few letterforms, and toss in some watercolor. It’s immediate. And once photographed and popped into Photoshop, with a bit of tonal adjustment, the composition is done, the exercise ends. And I can return to those somewhat dry academic grant proposals I’m reading.
