

We keep moving ahead on the renovations/changes to the house. But slowly.
The other day, we insulated the south-facing wall of the primary demolition room. And on this cold October morning, it’s 39 degrees outside; but inside, with a fine fire burning in the Buckstove, it’s 72. The furnace hasn’t kicked on, and we’re burning wood from downed tree limbs that Paula and I cut up several days ago, wood that has “naturally seasoned.”
It seems as if we’re going to stay warm this winter…
