We installed a solar attic fan yesterday, to reduce the heat build-up in the exposed attic space (it was a wilting 106 degrees up there). Today we’ll monitor how well it works… It’s exciting, in a geeky way, to see the blades of the fan spinning and to know that the fan is off the grid, operating on the power of the sun.
